I am an artist, designer, and author. I have been drawing and painting since the time I could first hold a pencil or brush as a child. I found that creating art was an extension of me that came naturally throughout my life.
My artistic journey began in the theater of arts. I continued my love for the arts with a BFA from the Academy of Art in San Francisco where I studied Art History and Lithography extensively, drawing and painting. To experience art is the highest compliment. That in itself is the driving force behind my creations.

My work has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine and Kaiser Permanente Medical Journal. In 2017, I wrote and illustrated my first book, “An Altar of Change” in which I explored the relationship between the human condition and technology. I hope to write and illustrate children’s books to help children learn through experiencing art that can feed their imagination.

Art, as in life, is an ever-changing, powerful expressive force. I create art to capture the essence of an event, place, mood, or experience in my life while I was connected in the moment.

I feel there is a human element and connection through history that is deeply embedded in the evolution of civilizations that cannot be disguised or avoided. Which gives a place it's character and presence.
My creative process seeks out the unusual or something beyond itself. My comfort lies in the strokes of a pencil or brush so my creations dance onto the canvas through paintings and drawings. I appreciate the expression of movement, fluid expressive marks, and brushwork with the exploration of patterns, colors, and textures to bring mood and emotion to life.
